An Ayurvedic Management of Cholelithiasis- A Case Report

Background: There are several diseases which arise in gall bladder and one of them is stones (cholelithiasis). The prevalence rate difficult to work out because calculous disease often asymptomatic. Cholelithiasis has become among the foremost common biliary tract. approximately 80 percent gallstones contain cholesterol therefore remaining 20 pigment stones, consist mainly calcium bilirubinate. Case Report: A 35-year male patient approached complaints heaviness abdomen, mild intermittent abdomen pain, nausea with ultrasonography report was suggestive cholelithiasis 4.7mm. Conclusion: diagnosed as Pittashmari treated ayurvedic medicine. With help Ayurvedic treatment protocol, free from 4.7mm within 2 months also improvement observed symptoms like pain nausea.
